Madking Ludwig

Madking Ludwig's sound comes straight out of their own Bermuda Triangle, emanating from somewhere between desert rock, metal and prog rock. Originating from Montreal, they have been creating their style of music since 1997, blending vocal harmonies and woodwind instruments with the crushing mix of fuzzed-out heavy rock.

The band, consisting of Stéphane Bellemare (Lumberjack), Sophie Bourassa, Raphaël Corbeil (Karmadoza), Patrick Falardeau and Stéphane Vigeant (Floating Widget, Karmadoza), has been averaging about two shows a year, turning each live performance almost into an event!

They have recorded their long-awaited first album in the confines of Wild Studio, in St-Zénon, QC, with the help of engineers Martin Dupuis (Floating Widget) and Pierre Rémillard (Cryptopsy, Kataklysm, Krisiun). This first offering will include nine tracks: Grains of Sand, Green Giant, Firefly, Awake Again, Spinwheel, Tumbleweed, Aqaba, Double Barrel and The Walls of Kerak. Look for the official launch to be in May or June of 2005 with ensuing shows to follow.
